Case
This case was a collaboration between Arla and the students of Business Academy Aarhus back in 2019.
At the time, Arla’s UX designer had an assignment: to make it easier and less frustrating for Danish farmers to fill out Arlagården® Plus—an exclusive platform accessible only to farmers. As a registered farmer working with Arla, you are obligated to complete the Arlagården® Plus form.

Back then, the platform consisted of a traditional form where farmers had to enter data about their farms, particularly related to their COâ‚‚ footprint. (As we all know, the farming industry significantly impacts the climate.) Arla aims to be COâ‚‚ neutral by 2050.
Our assignment as UX students was to make the platform more user-friendly, so even non-tech-savvy farmers could use it with ease—and to help nudge them toward reducing their COâ‚‚ footprint.
