What Did I Do?

01

Fonts

From having the same font for both headings and body text to:

Playfair Display font as headings

and Lato font as body text.

03

Spacing

Everything on the site was very spread out. They build their website in WordPress, dragged and dropped everything at the beginning and did not adjust anything. By doing so, everything was very wide, you had to scroll a lot especially on mobile. One thing was filling the whole viewpoint.

I made everything smaller which made all the sections have a better flow.

05

Highlights

By having the background color white on every sections, it can be hard to spot the difference between the sections.

By adding a hue of the primary color on different sections, I've made it easier for users who visit the site, to differentiate the sections from eachother.

07

Blogs

At the end of the website they are using their blogs. Before I changed the design it was - to be brutally honest - a cluster fuck. It was hard to differentiate what the beginning and where was the end.

I gave the section a background color blogs itself to make it easier for the eyes to know what it what.

02

Colors

Having their primary color as #D6C0A6, and using it on a blue background, which was their secondary color (#BFD1DB) - like I am doing here - makes the color hard to see.

I made the decision to use only their primary color, and use different hues of it. And the use of the colors white and black, white being as a background color and black as text color.

04

Buttons

From having the same buttons everywhere on the site, to having one key CTA for "Book tid" and a more subtle one for "Priser".

06

Image Buttons

On some pages they are linking to their treatments by using images.

The design before made it hard to see if the image was a button or not. It was only a text over an image, and nothing happened when hovering it.

I made it to an image-button. Now users won't be in doubts if they are clickable or not.
